  My daughter is 4. They don't like you to go into the rooms with them. This made me feel very uncomfortable and my daughter wouldn't let go of my hand so they agreed I could go back to the room with her. The doctor said she had a cavity and explained they use laughing gas and a "safety blanket" which is the Papoose board that straps down the children. They didn't even offer to show me the X-ray's. I had to ask. Then I had to wait 15 minutes for the doctor to show them to me. I had a weird feeling and took my daughter for a second opinion the same day. The second dentist said they didn't see any cavities and there was no need for her to get a filling. What dentist tries to give a 4 year old a filling!! Not to mention strapping her down on that board. She likes going to the dentist right now. I'm not trying to scare her and then she'll never want to go again. Always trust your gut and get second opinions.
